Online Education: A requisite for health professions education
Abstract
This letter reflects on the trials and triumphs experienced by HEIs in Pakistan during this extraordinary period. It encapsulates the journey of educators and learners as they grappled with the abrupt transition to virtual learning. It sheds light on the unforeseen revelations that emerged from this crisis, fostering a newfound familiarity with technology. As HEIs navigate this uncharted territory, the letter calls attention to the need for sustained support, training, and strategic planning to fortify the future of education in Pakistan.
